The Finishing Supervisor is responsible for managing all finishing operations to ensure that products are clean, well-pressed, defect-free, properly folded, and ready for packing. The finishing process includes thread cutting, ironing/pressing, stain removal, measurement checks, folding, and tagging, with no washing involved. The role ensures quality presentation in line with customer and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily finishing operations including:

• Thread trimming and cleaning of loose threads

• Ironing/pressing of stitched garments or gloves

• Minor repairs such as loose labels or buttons

• Stain and dirt removal (if required)

• Folding as per product or buyer specification

• Tag, barcode, and label attachment

• Final measurement and visual quality check

• Allocate manpower efficiently based on production flow from stitching.

• Ensure finishing output aligns with daily production and dispatch targets.

• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department to ensure defect-free finishing.

• Supervise and maintain pressing equipment and tools to ensure safety and effectiveness.

• Maintain records of daily finished output.

• Train finishing team in product handling, pressing techniques, and finishing standards.

• Ensure proper material handling to avoid creasing or contamination after pressing.

• Maintain 5S (sort, shine, set in order, standardize, sustain) in the finishing section.

• Enforce factory safety and discipline guidelines among finishing staff.

• Communicate with Packing Supervisor for smooth handover of finished goods.
