| Job Description: |
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day operations of the packing department. Ensure that all finished goods are packed according to the company’s and customer’s standards. Prepare and manage packing plans based on daily production output and shipment schedules. Monitor the packing staff’s performance and allocate manpower as per workload. Verify packaging materials (poly bags, cartons, labels, barcodes, etc.) availability and request replenishment when required. Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and documentation of packed goods. Conduct quality checks to ensure no defective items are packed. Coordinate with the QC department for any rejections or repacking needs. Maintain packing records and update inventory/packing status in the system or registers. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety guidelines. Train packing team on efficient methods, safety, and quality awareness. Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely dispatch. |
