We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Purchaser to source and procure mechanical components, equipment, and materials. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with expertise in mechanical purchasing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement:

• Source and procure mechanical components, equipment, and materials
• Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement

2. Supplier Management:

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms

3. Contract Management:

• Manage contracts, including renewals, amendments, and terminations
• Ensure compliance with contract terms

4. Inventory Management:

• Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure optimal inventory levels
• Identify opportunities for cost savings

5. Cost Analysis:

• Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

1. Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field

2. Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on mechanical purchasing

3. Skills:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical components, equipment, and materials
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for cost savings

4. Certifications:

• Certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field are desirable
