TPSP Products is looking for Wordpress developer.

The position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP Wordpress, HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript) and aesthetics (understanding of element sizing, spacing, arrangement and typography). Having a strong understanding of industry best practices is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the entire development cycle: design, development and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of existing Wordpress based platforms
• Ensuring high-performance and availability of the platforms at all times
• Management of all technical aspects of content management platforms
• Troubleshooting and debugging coding errors and cleaning up HTML/CSS on existing pages
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Formulating an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to write clean, solid, scalable code
• Knowledge of proficient understanding of web mark-up, especially HTML5 and CSS3
• Ability to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Understanding of client side scripting, js frameworks, incl jquery
• Experience with setting up Varnish and cache layers
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, ajax
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
• Knowledge of testing across multiple browsers, platforms and devices
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Chrome DevTools
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN or Mercurial)
