We are looking for a senior supervisor for our CNC milling and turning workshop for plastic injection molds.

The candidate should ideally have experience in the following areas.

• Candidate should be an expert in the working of plastic bottle blow shells, cap and preform molds. 


• He/she should have knowledge of various engineering aspects that affect mechanical stresses, material flow and mold fitting and be able to able to repair and troubleshoot problems with these types of molds.


•  CNC Machining Center operation.


• Familiarity with the Fanuc control system and companion software such as Pro/E and Powermill is a must.


•  CNC turning center operation as well as programming. 


•   Plastic mold designing using CAD. 


• Designing and production of  mold parts including preform cores, cavities, cavity lips, bottle cap mold cavities and punches. 


• Ability to reproduce such parts from a reference piece.  


•  Measurement of the reference piece profile dimensions by mounting it on the turning center. 


•  Size measurement using micrometer.


•   Familiarity with advanced CAD software such as CATIA or Creo will be a plus. 


• At a minimum the candidate should be able to design cap molds and ideally should be able to design preform molds.


•  Mold fitting (blow shell, cap and preform molds).


•  Operation of manual lathe.


•  Argon welding.


•  Some knowledge of mechanical and electrical aspects of CNC machines and the ability to do basic repairs.


•  The supervisor will oversee a team of workers performing the above mentioned tasks at various levels of proficiency and will be responsible for raising the skill level of these team members.


•  A degree in mechanical engineering is highly desired ( DAE or bachelors).
