| Job Description: |
- Has a deep understanding of advanced software constructs and programming concepts using C++ or similar language in an object oriented architecture.
- Good communication skills and a solid understanding of mathematical/physics concepts applicable to modelling and simulation solutions.
- Has skills/experience with simulation of 3D geometric modelling, 3D visualization with OpenGL or Vulkan, Lua scripting, Unity, or Qt development.
- Lead software development projects in support of modelling and simulation requirements provided by customers, to include:
o Define design/development approach o Assign tasking to staff developers o Communicate design concepts, development progress, and end results to management and customers through technical meetings and presentations (some travel involved) o Track progress and assure completion of the project on time and within budget o Create monthly status reports and delivering to customers o Participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process
- C++ (or similar low level) software development with a good understanding of advanced software constructs and programming concepts
- Good understanding of mathematical and physics concepts
- Good communications skills and aptitude to work with a team of developers and customers
- Leadership abilities to organize, assign tasks and complete projects using a team of developers
