• Document and communicate information security policies and procedures
• Periodically analyze and review information security policies
• Research new trends, threats, prevention strategies, and best practices
• Participate in security audits, plan remediation activities and manage deliverables resulting from an audit
• Ensure information security awareness and training policies are enforced
• Write technical articles for internal security knowledge base
• Conduct information security risk assessments in key business areas
• Prepare incident response reports and monitor till closure
• Coordinate with software developers, project managers, and other departments to ensure security standards are met
• Ensure information security checklists are being maintained and enforced along the course of routine operations
• Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are periodically tested and updated

Required skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Diploma in Information Security
• 1+ years experience in information security and similar IT jobs
• Exposure to or familiarity with computer networking and telecommunications, application design and development, information security (e.g., applications, intrusion detection, firewalls, etc.), operating systems.
• Experience and understanding of information security certifications and accreditations such as SOC, PCI, ISO
• Familiarity with security principles, techniques, and technologies.
• Ability to write clear instructions, procedures, presentations, and training materials.
