Manage retail showroom
• Assist with product selection, merchandising, and pricing
• Assist with marketing, advertising and promotions
• Work with management to ensure all sales goals are met
• Manage inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels
• Consolidate weekly sales reports and conduct purchasing and forecasting analysis
• Plan and manage day-to-day operations of the store
• Develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability
• Ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient
• Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability
• Adjust sales goals and procedures as appropriate for the store
• Assist with order processing and scheduling of deliveries
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, designers and interior decorators
• Other related duties as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years retail management experience in the furniture and home décor industry
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with a Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Desire and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, creative and entrepreneurial environment
• Knowledge of design trends, competition and marketplace
• High degree of analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Internet and databases)
