The Position:
- This ideal candidate for SharePoint Administrator is an experienced professional who can demonstrate advanced skills administering and managing SharePoint environments, both 2013 & 2016, Online & on-premises, and Foundation & Enterprise.
- In this role, the hired candidate will be responsible for administrating SharePoint implementations for both internal (intranet) and external (extranet) purposes.
- The role will report to the primary SharePoint Administrator/Engineer, will coordinate with SharePoint developers, and participate in daily meetings with US-based management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with SharePoint technologies, both on premises and online
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of SharePoint's out-of-the-box capabilities and how to properly configure those features
- Demonstrated experience with farm/site collection creation & management
- Demonstrated experience managing SharePoint security
- Demonstrated experience with SharePoint PowerShell
- Experience with SharePoint version upgrades, both major and minor
- Experience monitoring the health and uptime of SharePoint environments, and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Experience defining SharePoint governance
- Experience building and maintaining SharePoint design and architecture documentation
- Demonstrated skill using SharePoint Designer 2013
- Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)
- Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective standard operating procedures and systems requirements to meet business needs
- Excellent English and general communication skills, both written and oral
- Able to develop support documents, training material and other resources to help with knowledge and comfort level of new products and services
- Self-driven and detail oriented
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server in regard to SharePoint
- Experience with Windows system administration in Enterprise environments
Desired:
- MCSE – SharePoint Certification
- Experience with ShareGate
- Experience with SharePoint analytics tools
- Knowledge of ASP.NET, Java, HTML/CSS, SSRS, SQL
- Experience with Visual Studio Online/Visual Studio Team Services
- Experience with Git for source control
- Experience with automation via scripting
