| Job Description: |
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Review and contribute to software program documentation(Test cases, Test Plans, and Scripts).
- Record detailed metrics and track outcomes of the testing process.
- Proactively participate in recommending development changes for improving software/application.
- Logging and describing issues and Interacting with developers to resolve issues discovered.
- Effectively communicate Bugs/Test results in writing.
- Perform different types of software tests including Usability, Performance, Cross Browsers, and Platforms.
- Strong concepts of Functional testing (black box, unit, regression, system, interface, smoke and User Acceptance Testing).
- Test Automation skills for the web app testing, including writing/augmenting. Selenium scripts would be considered a plus.
Required skills
- Excellent communication skills; written and spoken English.
- Sound knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology (Scrum).
- Highly self-motivated individual with a strong commitment to meet deadlines and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Understanding of UML diagrams and other artifacts.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
