Nexus vision is in need of an experienced UI/UX Designer for Android and iOS Apps to work on our Project. The position is currently for a 3 Month contract but can lead to an ongoing engagement depending on future expansion, maintenance and expertise of the developers monitored during this contract. We will be running day and night shifts so there is 1 position currently available for this contract.

This role will be responsible for designing and directing the creation of UI, info architecture, interaction designs, and visual design of new and existing in-content experiences for apps on iOS, Android, Mac, PC, and Web.

Basic Qualifications

· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect or similar role · An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions from the ground up and UI design expertise. Must illustrate solving for multi-platform UX challenges with complex workflows and demonstrate scalable, user-friendly design solutions · Typography and layout expertise · Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI) or equivalent professional experience · Experience in a variety of design and prototype tools such as Sketch, Axure, Invisionapp, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign · Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Strong visual design skills · Experience with print and traditional book design · Strong information architecture skills · Ability to prototype in HTML, CSS and Javascript or native technologies · Relevant work experience in the education and e-learning spaces · Excellent written and oral communication skills
