| Job Description: |
The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering with specialization Electrical/Electronic/Computer/Software Engineering
- Have 2 - 5 years of relevant working experience.
Job Description:
- Understand 2G/3G Network Architecture Flows
- Understand PS Core Nodes (SGSN, GGSN, DNS, PCRF, BG, Firewall, Routers)
- Understand IP Protocols (OSPF, BGP, TCP, etc.)
- Support Level-2 (Drive and participate in Problem Identification and troubleshooting)
- Execute WO and Verification
- Handle NOC CCMS Trouble tickets (GPRS, Specific Data Service, Blackberry, Data Roaming)
- Complete understanding of Network HLD and LLD
- Assess the criticality of the incident at Network Business level and engage Vendor Support
- Responsible to keep software level up to date and attend upgradations of existing Node if required
- Keep an eye on Network Nodes license limitation and expiry
- Do Quarterly Network Audits
- Manager Vendor and SLA Tracking
- Own, manage and facilitate escalated customer complaints
- Coordinate, execute and support for new projects
- Help improving dept. processes
- Troubleshoot In-house tools development
- Ensure Weekly system health checks as a part of preventive maintenance
- Ensure Network KPI's above set threshold
- Coordinate Interdepartmental (Planning, Marketing, Finance, and peer NOC)
- Responsible for any changes made to procedures, whether internal or external
- Standardize and optimize Network parameter
- Transfer Knowledge to Team
Essential Skills:
- Knowledge of GSM/GPRS Call flows, IP Protocols, Signaling, troubleshooting skills and database configuration
Desireable Skills:
- Hands on experience on Huawei Core nodes
- Should not have any concerns working in shifts round the clock and if required on holidays (including public holidays) as an emergency resource.
